This is, without questioning, my strongest area!
History of Art and Aesthetics: The analysis of early works of Arts from B.C.E. to the Medieval era.
(Picture on the left from a painting found the caves of Lascaux; it is part of the earliest works of Art found)

(Picture on the right is of a Medieval Tapestry which is a symbolic piece of art from that era)
Philosophy of Art: The analysis of works of Art that are either from modern periods or from earlier periods with a philosophical perspective. It's analyzing the works with a different aspect, which leads to a different conclusion about the work in the end. Also it makes the viewer aware of the different perspectives other viewers can come up with or can have while looking at the pieces.
Art Criticism: A class mostly about photography, developed skills of formal analysis with different perspective (formal perspectives, structural perspective, Marxist perspective, etc) Learned the history of photography in detail and how it evolved from early portraits to what photography is today, and also the evolution of the works of photographers.
(Picture for W Magazine by Richard Prince; his work was deeply analyzed in my final paper for this class. He often, like in this picture, deconstructs stereotypes and myths (in this case regarding gender)

Western Religions and the Arts: Analysis of works of Art that are related to religion on different levels (sometimes picturing a scene described in religious texts and sometimes more symbolic works)Developed skills of writing, religious vocabulary, and learned about the lives of Saints, and life of Jesus in details .
